2. Website operation and Cloudflare

The website is delivered through Cloudflare Workers. This may involve processing the IP address, time, requested URL, HTTP method, response status, referrer, browser and device information, and security or error data.

The recipient and processor is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, including its engaged sub-processors. Processing serves the secure, stable and fast delivery of the website and the prevention of attacks and misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Cloudflare may process data through its global network, including outside the European Union. According to its Data Processing Addendum, Cloudflare uses the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework for transfers to the United States and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses with additional safeguards for other restricted transfers. The Workers Logs enabled by us are retained for three days under the Free plan we use and are not exported; evidence required for a specific security incident may exceptionally be restricted and retained for longer.

3. Cookies and browser storage

The public website uses no analytics or marketing cookies. Closing the language suggestion stores language-suggestion-dismissed=1 until the browser session ends; this value is not sent to the server.

4. Google Maps

Google Maps is loaded only after an explicit click. Google may then receive the IP address, browser and device information, time and map request, and may take existing Google cookies or account data into account.

For people in the European Economic Area, the provider is generally Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Recipients may also include Google LLC and other Google companies.

Processing may also take place in the United States and other third countries. Google states that transfers to the United States rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, where required, Standard Contractual Clauses.

Activation is based on consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and section 25(1) TDDDG. Consent applies to the current page view; reloading removes the embedded map again.

5. Contact by email or telephone

When you contact us, we process the contact details and content you provide in order to answer your enquiry. Emails to our project address are forwarded through Cloudflare Email Routing to a protected Gmail mailbox.

For the current Gmail destination mailbox, Google processes the data required to provide and secure the service under its consumer-service terms; Google does not provide a data processing agreement for this service. For people in the European Economic Area, the provider is generally Google Ireland Limited; Google LLC and other Google companies may also receive data. Processing in the United States and other third countries is possible; Google refers in particular to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, where required, Standard Contractual Clauses.

Depending on the enquiry, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. Ordinary completed enquiries are generally deleted after six months unless legal duties or legitimate evidence interests require longer retention.

6. Donations and published donation totals

The bank transfers listed on this website are made directly to Arbeitskreis „Eine Welt“ e. V. Mettingen.

Project Anosy does not operate its own donation account. No bank, payment or address data relating to donations is transmitted to Project Anosy through this website. The association processes the information required for bank transfers and any donation receipt under its own data protection responsibility.

Project Anosy does not publish information about individual donors or individual transactions. Only aggregated donation totals for each project and overall are made public.

7. Social media links

The website does not embed content or tracking scripts from Instagram, TikTok or YouTube. It provides external links only. When you open such a link, you leave this website and the platform processes data under its own responsibility.

8. Images, video and media

We publish images, videos, names and personal stories on the basis of consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent may also be given orally; we keep an internal traceable record of its scope, purpose and date. For children, consent is obtained from the person with parental responsibility and the child is involved according to their age and maturity.

Consent may be withdrawn at any time for future use. The affected medium will then be removed from public display without undue delay unless an overriding statutory exception applies.

Unapproved originals and uploads remain protected. Public media versions are handled separately from private originals.

9. Your rights

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. You may withdraw consent for the future and complain to a data protection authority.
