Honestly: why we do this
We don't have a ready-made answer to every question – and we don't want to pretend we do. But what we do know is that the existing education projects in Fort Dauphin are doing valuable work and deserve more attention and support.
We had the opportunity to complete our A-levels and to study today. Through this, we experience every day the opportunities that a good education can create and how much it influences one's life path. That is exactly why we are aware of how important education is for personal opportunities and a self-determined future.
We want to listen, understand, and report openly on what is happening on the ground – about progress as well as challenges. Our goal is to create transparency, build trust, and thereby win more people over to support the work locally.
Because sustainable change requires time, trust, and long-term cooperation – not quick promises.
Our mission
We promote education in Fort Dauphin and primarily want to strengthen existing local projects.
It is important to us to work closely with the local people and provide support where it is truly needed. Through transparency, we want to show what can be achieved with support and the concrete difference it can make for children and young people.

Our vision is that children and young people in Fort Dauphin receive the educational opportunities they need to shape their lives independently.
We believe that education not only imparts knowledge but also opens doors, builds self-confidence, and creates new perspectives. When young people can recognize and seize their opportunities, it not only strengthens them personally but also their entire community in the long term.
